Stephanie Varnon-Hughes,
Children's Education Coordinator
Stephanie recently completed her MA at Union Theological Seminary and plans to continue her studies there with the goal of earning a doctorate.*
She is a certified schoolteacher who has taught children in grades from kindergarten through 11th in St. Louis and is currently teaching at a junior high school in the Bronx.
At Broadway UCC, Stephanie seeks new and innovative ways to bring children more fully into the life of the parish. She welcomes ALL children to join her for Sunday School, including visitors!

* As an extension of her doctoral studies, Stephanie recently co-founded an academic journal with a rabbinical student from Jerusalem. The Journal of Inter-Religious Dialogue is a forum designed to increase the quality and frequency of interchanges between religious groups and their leaders. The journal's website is also a wonderful educational resource.
