FUN for KIDS and FAMILIES!

      
Broadway United Church of Christ is committed to caring for children and their families. We are building a child-centered Religious Education program and have child care and Sunday School during every worship service. But that's only just the beginning...

• SUNDAY SCHOOL for KIDS
  During our weekly 5 pm Worship Service at Broadway UCC we offer Sunday School for children of all ages. Kids attend the beginning of worship upstairs in the Sanctuary with their families, and then are dismissed to join Stephanie Varnon-Hughes, our Children's Education Coordinator, for education and worship tailored specifically for them. Oh yes, and during holiday times, the Sunday School often puts on a show for the whole congregation to enjoy (see photo above)!

WEEKLY SUNDAY SUPPERS for ALL
Each week after the 5:00 o'clock service ends, everyone gathers together downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for our Sunday Supper -- a time when we get to be ONE REALLY BIG FAMILY!
(During the summer, we have suppers twice a month -- the specific dates will be noted in our Events List.)

"PLAY OUT LOUD!" Summer Drama Camp for Kids
During the second week of August, we have a fun and action-packed drama camp for kids, complete with a performance for families and friends -- starring the kids, of course! Check out the photos »

FUN TIMES FOR ALL AGES
We like to get a big mix of people of all ages together -- "just for fun!"
For example, this past year we had Film Nights (we saw WALL-E), bowling and skating parties, and a Picnic and Softball Game in Central Park! We'll keep you posted about upcoming Fun Times through our monthly newsletters and Events List.
