Contemporary Christian Spirituality: Four Visions

Join BUCC member and Columbia University professor Richard R. John as he leads a discussion of five books by four writers who have written extensively about spiritual insight from a Christian perspective. 

On 28 April, the focus will be on feminist scholar bell hooks's All About Love;  on 5 May, a book of essays by novelist Marilynne Robinson:  Death of Adam; on 12 May, a second book of essays by Marilynne Robinson: When I Was a Child, I Read Books; on 19 May, religious scholar Elaine Pagels's Why Religion; on 9 June, Winifred Gallagher's Working on God.  Copies of the books will be available during Community Hour.
