Contemporary Christian Spirituality: Four Visions

Join BUCC member and Columbia University professor Richard R. John as he leads a discussion of five books by four writers who have written extensively about spiritual insight from a Christian perspective. 

On 28 April, the focus will be on feminist scholar bell hooks's All About Love;  on 5 May, two books of essays by novelist Marilynne Robinson:  Death of Adam and When I Was a Child I Read Books; on 12 May, religious scholar Elaine Pagels's Why Religion; on 19 May, Winifred Gallagher's Working on God.  Copies of the books will be available during Community Hour.
