The phrase “Black Lives Matter” means many different things to different people based upon personal experience: where one lives and grew up, one's conception of 'justice', etc. This Sunday after worship, Sam Washington, BUCC's Mission Committee Chair, will speak from a personal perspective to offer insight into what it’s like to be a Black man in America today.
A selected series of short videos and slides will be shown in concert, in an attempt to illustrate some of the many different perspectives of the “Black Lives Matter” experience. Please join us for this important conclusion to our Lenten Social Justice series.
All are welcome!
