Reverend Victoria L. Moss,
Director of Children's Ministry

The Reverend Victoria L. Moss has been appointed as the new part-time Director of Children’s Ministry of Broadway Church (effective June 15, 2011). She currently serves as half-time pastor of the Ridgewood Presbyterian Church in Queens, and will soon begin her fifth year.

Vicki grew up in Elizabeth, NJ and graduated from Davis & Elkins College (in Elkins, WV) with a BA in Vocal Music. She went on to earn Master of Arts in Christian Education from The Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA).

While working as a Director of Christian Education for thirteen years, Vicki completed the Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She was ordained in 1994 and served several tiny churches in West Virginia before becoming Chaplain of Davis & Elkins College, a position which she held for nine years just prior to coming to NYC.

Vicki loves Celtic spirituality, creating with children, dogs, rock and roll, theatre, human and wind-powered boating in salt water (aka active tanning), labyrinths, playing guitar, preaching, teaching, and world peace. She currently lives in Ridgewood, Queens with her pastor-partner John Harris, two incorrigible cats and her BFF Myrrhlyn, the wonder dog. She welcomes ALL children to join her for Sunday School, including visitors!
